Welcome to Art Camp!

Art Camp! is run through my small business Rare Jems, to provide fun and engaging art and craft workshops for children during the school holidays. These art sessions welcome children from the Dudley Borough and surrounding areas, encouraging them to step away from their screens and come and dive into a world of imagination and creativity. Each workshop has been designed, organised and delivered by myself.

Art Camp! is a space where children can unleash their creativity, build their confidence, express themselves and explore the world around them using arts and craft mediums. I am so passionate about the positive impact arts and education has on each and every child, and I’m looking forward to building a thriving club within the local community. Each session is held in the Kingswinford Community Centre, and is suitable for children aged 6-11.

About Me:

My journey to becoming a professional artist started when I was a young child. I was always drawing, painting or sculpting a brand new creation – I have a vivid memory of sculpting safari animals out of a cereal boxes and making my own personal “zoo”.

It’s safe to say that art has played a huge part in who I am, it’s shaped me into the person I am today and impacted how I see the world around me. It is this enjoyment and enthusiasm for arts and crafts that I want to share with the next generation – especially since the government has sadly made cuts to the visual and performing arts in education. I’m looking forward to welcoming you to Art Camp!

– I have a clear, up-to-date, Enhanced DBS Check – which is on the Update Service.

– I have relevant Safeguarding Training.

– I am Level 3 Paediatric First Aid Trained.

– I have experience in the Arts and Education Sector, working with children from ages four to eighteen, delivering arts and drama workshops.
