These adorable and unique animations capture a true likeness of your pets. I draw each pet caricature by hand, using only the finest quality, hot-pressed, acid-free watercolour paper and lightfast, professional artist’s Pitt Pens. When displayed and cared for correctly, my pet caricatures will last for years to come without yellowing or fading!

All caricatures can be professionally mounted for a small additional charge.
The sizes are based on paper size, which matches the corresponding standard framing size. Your caricature will fill a good amount of the paper area.
Shipping
Each caricature order can be shipped on a fully insured postage. I always use Royal Mail and calculate your shipping costs dependant on your caricature size, price, weight, and the postal service you require. Each order is packaged in bubble wrap and sent either in a hard-backed envelope or double-walled box, to ensure it reaches you in perfect condition. Your shipping cost will be calculated upon your time of booking and added
accordingly. Please note that shipping rates fluctuate depending on the postal rates at the time of booking. Alternatively, if you are local to myself, you can opt for free collection.

I am not responsible or liable for any tax customs you may be charged for any international shipping. Please note that international shipping rates fluctuate depending on the exchange rate at your time of booking – this will be calculated before your booking is secured.

How to Book a Pet Caricature:
Contact me Directly
Email me at: jemima@rarejems.co.uk with the details of your pet caricature order. Please include the number of pets, the size, and if you require professional mounting and shipping. I will check my availability and respond to your enquiry within twenty-four hours.
Secure Your Booking
I require payment in full for all my pet caricatures before any work commences. I will calculate the final cost of your order and send your Invoice and the Pet Caricature Terms and Conditions to your email address. Payment is required within three days and my Terms and Conditions must be read in full and approved in writing.
Timescale
Once you are securely booked in, I will send you a confirmation email with your full timescale details. Orders are fulfilled within three weeks, however please keep in mind that during busy periods, this can extend to four weeks. If you need your caricature in time for a specific date, please inform me at the earliest convenience when you enquire, and I will do my best to accommodate you.
Send me Photographs:
Email me a selection of three to five photographs of each pet that you would be happy for me to use. If you have a specific photograph in mind, please specify this in your email.
Drawing Time!
When your time slot arrives, I will contact you to confirm I have made a start. I create an initial pencil line drawing, which is sent to you for approval. Once this has been approved, I complete the caricature using my professional artists’ Pitt Pens. You are required to sign-off your order before shipping commences or made available for collection.
The Rare Jems Famous Faces!
Meet Ambrosious the Spaniel! This handsome pooch is famous in the world of TikTok and Instagram for helping his human. His owner commissioned me in 2023 to create a caricature of him and his two siblings, telling me that Ambrosious “saved them from themselves” and is a very special boy.
I was more than happy to oblige and I’m thrilled to share that Ambrosious and his siblings adored their portraits and bespoke mugs and coasters! It was a joy capturing their vivid personalities on the page and putting a smile on their owner’s faces. You may be seeing more of Ambrosious as he has recently been made the new face of ALDI’s dog food! Keep an eye out when you are in the supermarket.
